The best vegan pizza places in Cornwall
Despite not eating dairy, I consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur. Although all pizza is a good investment, I can also tell the difference between an OK pizza and a truly great one. And luckily for me there are plenty of great pizza places in Cornwall. Below are some of my favourites, all with really good vegan options.

Salty Bay Pizza Kitchen, St Austell
Incredibly popular with locals and tourists alike, Salty Bay has more options than you can shake a doughstick at and all of them are good. A huge variety of sizes, sauces and toppings, there’s something here for everyone. And for a unique twist, make sure you try their panuozzos – something between a calzone and a pasty (how Cornish!)

Fives Cyderhouse, Falmouth
Inside this good looking pub at the end of Falmouth’s busy high street is a pizza lover’s dream. Freshly rolled dough and ingredients sourced from local suppliers, they have a few different vegan options, as well as some veggie ones that can be made vegan (just ask!). This is a great place to grab a pizza and pint, and maybe watch some sport on the big screen.

Sourdoughlicious, Various Locations
These guys have a bit of a cult following, and I can see why. Showing up in various locations around Cornwall, this horse box pizzeria makes some of the best wood fired pizza we’ve tasted and the owners are absolutely lovely. There are a few mobile vendors around Cornwall but these are our pick – take a look at their socials or their website to check where you can catch them next!
Pizzeria 42, Penryn
My personal favourite on this list. Nestled in a corner of the student town of Penryn, Pizzeria 42 has amassed quite a following. I never know whether to believe the reviews but on this occasion I can confirm the hype is real. Loads of creative vegan options, delicious sides (don’t skip the pesto pizza balls!), and the friendliest staff make this place a winner. And if you need further convincing, they donate part of their profits on certain items to local charities. Doing good has never been so tasty.

Secret Garden, Newquay
A gorgeous spot for a date, a catch up with friends or a full blown instagram photoshoot, Secret Garden in Newquay is probably the best looking location on this list. The interior is sleek and the outside garden has the most stunning sunset views of Newquay beach. Make sure you try the cocktails as well for the most summery vibes.

The Stable, Falmouth and Newquay
The only chain restaurant on this list, The Stable is still worth mentioning because the pizzas here really are good. Plenty of vegan options, a great selection of ciders on tap, and a lovely setting (overlooking Fistral Beach in Newquay or Falmouth Harbour) make for a wonderful dining experience all round.
